_____________ Income Tax DepartmentThe Village of Waterville has a local income tax rate of 2%. That tax is levied on the income of residents, non-resident employees, and corporations operating within the Village. Residents who work in another municipality and who have an income tax liability in that municipality may receive a credit for any such taxes paid to the municipality, provided that the credit does not apply against the first 0.5% levied by Waterville. Specific questions can be directed to 419-878-8102. The local income tax is the primary source of revenue for the Village and provides the necessary financial support for most of the Village's departments and programs.
