“When Business Week Magazine ranked Waterville #9 in their Great Places to Raise Kids - for Less, it was based on safety, recreational and cultural activities, schools, and test scores. We all value and take pride in these qualities of our community. It is our responsibility as a council to continue to maintain these high standards while being financially responsible to its citizens, especially as growth and development continue to spread in this direction.”
